AT&T extends networking contract with Ford

Ford Motor Company is to extend its substantial voice and data networking services contract with AT&T. Under the new contract, terms of which were not disclosed, AT&T will provide a custom-designed bundle of services to Ford and its Hertz subsidiary, including high-speed data services to meet its expanding application needs. Says Jerry Gerami, AT&T vice president. “Ford Motor Company requires a reliable networking services provider to carry its mission critical voice and data transmissions, and we’re pleased Ford has entrusted AT&T’s global network to carry its traffic effectively and efficiently.”
