Syspro ERP vendor Information Engineering and ‘lean thinking’ management consultant HOSCA have formed an association to deliver all-round lean business and manufacturing solutions. The directors say they want to integrate real lean manufacturing principles with ERP business systems. They say manufacturers will have access to help in defining, selecting and implementing systems without conflicting advice, and they promise dramatic savings in time and money, and sustainable lean improvements. HOSCA has developed a reputation among manufacturers across a broad spectrum of disciplines and industries, for practical, hands-on implementation of lean manufacturing. It has a range of tools and systems to enable users to match lean principles to their ERP functionality. HOSCA’s customers include British Aerospace, Caterpillar, Dunlop, Dzus, Ford, Jaguar, Mothercare, NSK, Smith & Nephew, TBI, Trelleborg and Volvo. Information Engineering can also integrate SYSPRO with other best-of-breed software, including CAD, HR, warehousing and logistics.
