K3 AX showcases Microsoft Dynamics AX in European first

K3 AX showcased Microsoft Dynamics AX alongside ERP software from SAP, Oracle, Epicor and Lawson at an event pitting ERP products against each other.
The company took part in the two-day ERP head-to-head event in Dublin late last month, where all products were demonstrated using a single script, allowing for a like-for-like comparison for finance and IT executives.
Basil Fenton operations director Ireland for K3 AX, says it was the first time such an event had been staged in Europe.
"It provided a time-effective and 'cost-effective' event format for senior management, including finance and IT executives and members of their ERP selection teams, to review leading ERP products and to learn how to manage their selection process," he asserts.
And he adds: "What would have taken many days of research and complex comparison work was presented in an ideal way for serious buyers."
Evidently, the event was so successful that the organisers are now taking the concept forward with an events in Manchester due in mid February 2011.
