K3 managed services smashes first half target

Syspro ERP firm K3 Business Technology Group says its specialist IT support division has exceeded its targets by a massive 120%.

According to Neil Homer, K3 business development manager, that's the result of K3 Managed Services' significant investment in personnel and technology – with, he says, more highly qualified specialists due to join later this year. K3 Sentinel, the company's IT monitoring technology, has been installed in a newly constructed in-house Network Operations Centre, he explains, to ensure that customers' systems run at peak efficiency. "Our customers clearly see the benefits of using K3 Managed Services as their IT support team. We have comprehensive knowledge and experience of Syspro ERP, which sets us apart from the crowd," says Horner. "Customers also benefit from K3's support procedures, and our ability to call upon extensive skill-sets through the whole K3 Group makes us a vital tool to the ongoing support and maintenance of our customers systems," he adds. Horner says this can only get better, explaining that K3 Managed Services will introduce a dedicated offsite data centre next year to complement its existing business continuity offerings. Having already installed robust backup and recovery systems, K3's next phase will provide a real-time recovery service, while plans are also underway to provide 24/7 support.
