PlantVision takes Preactor APS software to Scandinavia

Advanced planning and scheduling (APS) specialist Preactor has struck a deal with Swedish technology consultancy PlantVision to implement its production software across Scandinavia.

Headquartered in Kista, near Stockholm, PlantVision claims to offer Scandinavia's widest range of solutions for manufacturing operational improvement and has delivered over 200 major projects in the last 15 years. PlantVision CEO Magnus Severin says his firm will now offer Preactor's family of production planning and scheduling solutions as part of its solution portfolio. "As a company, Preactor has a very deep knowledge and understanding of planning and scheduling, which has been transferred into its software," he enthuses. "Preactor's capabilities will help customers in achieving operational excellence by reducing lead times and inventory levels, while at the same time increasing productivity," he adds. "PlantVision has a proven track record of working with a broad range of companies across many industries," comments Mike Novels, Preactor CEO. "Preactor will help them to do this to an even greater extent, and we are a confident of a long and successful relationship."
