Prisym and Honeywell partner for medical manufacturing

Auto-identification specialist PrisymID and automation and controls giant Honeywell are partnering to provide FDA compliant labelling MES (manufacturing execution system) functionality for the medical sector.
It means Prisym’s Medica software – developed to meet the FDA’s 21 CFR Part 11 regulations with high level data encryption and audit trails linked to individual users with time and date stamping – being offered as a module option or upgrade to the Honeywell POMSnet MES application.
Also, by pooling their knowledge and experience, the pair say they are offering a complete FDA and GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice) compliant solution to the life sciences industry.
