IBM and Dassault Systemes expand portfolio with SmarTeam e-Supply Chain applications

IBM is to add Dassault Systemes’ SmarTeam e-Supply Chain applications suite to its product lifecycle management (PLM) application portfolio. IBM’s PLM offerings now include Catia, Enovia, SmarTeam and associated services to deliver very broad 3D product data and development management to manufacturers. SmarTeam e-Supply Chain solutions, including the innovative web-centric mySmarTeam and SmartBOM collaborative engineering and manufacturing management suites, enable precise sharing of product information between dispersed networks of suppliers, subcontractors, partners and customers across the Internet – irrespective of the design systems used – to create the product information.
