Bromford Iron & Steel, a producer of hot rolled flats, sections and custom profiles, and stockholder D&J Steels have announced the details of their presence at Made in the Midlands 2018.

Bromford Iron & Steel will be present on stand 294 whilst D&J Steels can be found on stand 173.

Following the recent appointment of two, new full-time apprentices as technicians, Bromford will be showcasing the potential of new steel products and techniques with a sculpture created from Bromford products.

This year marks the second year at Made in the Midlands for the OSSL Group, following a combined presence in 2017 that also saw Bromford and D&J exhibit at the show. For 2018 the Group has increased its investment.

“Last year we saw strong footfall and we recognise the importance of a presence at such a keenly regional event,” said Heather Palfrey, commercial director at Bromford.“This year we are really excited to be showing off what our apprentices are capable of developing and showcasing the creative side to working with metals and how to supply more finished products into markets.”

Steve Huggins, director at D&J Steels, added: “Events such as Made in the Midlands mean we can not only build new relationships quickly but take existing relationships to a new level. With more than 2,500 manufacturing and engineering professionals in one place, we are looking forward to a lot of conversations!”

Made in the Midlands 2018 will be held on the 21 June at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
