Enterprise software specialist SSI has beaten off competition from rivals Intentia and Sanderson to win two contracts, worth £500,000, in the food manufacturing sector this month. London-based Rayner Group, which makes sauces and soft drinks, and its Bristol-based subsidiary, Cauldron Foods (manufacturer of vegetarian food products) will both implement SSI’s ERP (enterprise resource planning) software, Tropos, at their respective sites. Rayner currently receives more than 60% of its orders via EDI. The actual deal includes financials from Coda, reporting tools from Cognos, plus EDI software from SAA Consultants.
