Mark is a qualified engineer with a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), who brings a wealth of engineering, operations and manufacturing experience to the business from previous roles at Hanson, Saint Gobain and Lafarge Tarmac. He has a particular interest in team development, as he believes it improves operational efficiency and productivity, as well as a strong commitment to safe operations.
With this in mind, he will work with stakeholders throughout Supreme Concrete to bring a positive change of mindsets and behaviours and operating structures through proven methodologies. These focus on Health and safety initiatives, training and people engagement.
Commenting on his appointment, Mark said: “I am absolutely delighted to join Supreme Concrete. This is a great business, with a strong foundation to work from and a committed and talented team. My goal is to help grow the business by working closely with our people to help them achieve their full potential. This in turn will catalyse positive organisational change that will deliver step-change improvements to the way we work, and the way do business.”
Mark will also oversee an on-going programme of strategic investment at the company’s factories, considering latest technology and the industries’ shift towards the digital agenda.
