Following the success of the 2010 event, we are pleased to announce the National Manufacturing Debate 2011: Investment, Incentives and Innovation. The event is being held at Cranfield University on 24-25 May 2011 and is partnered by Works Management magazine.
This year's event will focus on how long term job creation and regional balance can be achieved through investment, incentives and innovation in the UK manufacturing industry. Following the main keynote presentation from Mark Prisk MP, Minister of State for Business and Enterprise, and a series of speakers representing a range of organisations, the motion 'Can the manufacturing sector create a significant number of long-term jobs and a regional balance?' will be debated.
This is a must-attend event for all manufacturing executives from all sectors. Booking is now open – reserve your place via the conference website www.cranfield.ac.uk/sas/manufacturingdebate, where you will also find further information and a downloadable summary of last year's debate and poll.
