Previously the strategic project director at Boulting Technology, Whitehead’s experience in the electrical services spans almost 20 years. After an impressive career including project management for Siemens, Whitehead joined Boulting in 2003, where he has been responsible for technical design, planning and organisation of project resources.
The promotion will allow him to use these skills alongside his knowledge of the electrical and engineering sectors to lead the company to new heights. In the changing times and trend towards a connected, smart factory, the services Boulting Technology is offering its clients are also evolving.
“Becoming director on the year of the centenary is the perfect reminder of how Boulting Technology has come, and of the exciting developments that are yet to come,” explained Whitehead.

This alliance is a direct result of feedback from our clients, that information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) were converging at such a fast rate, they were worried about cybersecurity risks.
