Engineers from SYS Systems have revealed plans for a free 3D printing ‘pop-up’ event at the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA), overlooking Hyde Park, between 10am and 5pm from 6-8 March.
SYS Systems, which is a UK platinum partner for Stratasys, supplies its full range of 3D printing machines, products and software across sectors such as automotive, aerospace, pharmaceutical, healthcare and education.
The firm says that investing in an on-site 3D printing solution not only enables the rapid prototyping of end-standard products, but reduces the need for tooling and outsourcing, shortening lead times, reducing waste and saving companies time and money.
Explains SYS Systems sales manager Rob Thompson: “Huge advancements have been made in 3D printing in recent years and more and more businesses are realising that it can hugely improve the way they operate.
“However, there are many more out there who have not yet discovered its potential and we’re aiming to reach out through our informal pop-up event.
“It will operate on a drop-in basis, with several one-hour application seminars each day, and represents a perfect opportunity for people to find out from industry experts how the latest 3D printing technology might help them.”
Visitors to the MTA will be able to see the Stratasys Objet30 Pro in action. A Stratasys representative will also be on hand, with complimentary refreshments available. The application sessions will run between 10.30am and 11.30am, 12.30pm and 1.30pm and 2.30pm and 3.30pm on each day, with people free to come and go as they please in between.
Anyone interested in attending the event is urged to register their interest online.
