3DLive extends collaborative engineering development to all users

3DLive is a lightweight solution composed of ‘live’ applications that broaden the collaborative nature of PLM (product lifecycle management), first available for Catia, Enovia and Delmia simulation software. It delivers real-time 3D through a graphical user interface, allowing users to search, navigate and collaborate online, and bringing value-adding potential to the widest user base. “3DLive puts all stakeholders on the same page, using 3D as a universal media through which they can work together, accelerating decision making and driving innovation, in production, marketing, project management and at the executive level,” says Thierry Delaporte, vice president of the Deputy Operation Office at the Space Engines Division of Snecma, SAFRAN Group. “We are leveraging the PLM IP [intellectual property] we built up over the years in new ways.
