Walker Filtration is headquartered in Washington, near Newcastle, which is where its 12,000 m² main manufacturing plant is also based. It has around 220 employees worldwide, with sales offices in Europe, USA, Australia and Japan.
The business will continue to operate under the brand name Walker Filtration, and will be part of the Medical Gas division in the Compressor Technique business area.
Vagner Rego, business area president compressor technique, said: “Walker Filtration is a respected company with a strong brand name and product portfolio that will play an important role to increase our presence and competence in the business of equipment for the treatment of compressed air, gas and vacuum.”
The purchase price has not been disclosed.
