Nominations are being invited for an awards scheme recognising materials handling excellence. The British Materials Handling Federation (BMHF) awards will cover the achievements of companies and their people, in the key areas of manufacture and supply including, technical innovation, energy saving, health and safety, installation solutions and professional achievement.
The technical innovation award has five sub-categories, each one recognising a product or service depicted by the profile of each of the trade associations that make up the membership of the BMHF, namely loading and elevating equipment, automated material handling systems, industrial trucks, powered access and storage equipment.
The deadline for entries and nominations is 11 November. The judging panel will convene in late November to review all the entries and select the finalists for each category. Finalists will be publicised early next year and businesses will be asked to vote for their favourite in each category.
To nominate, visit the awards website at www.bmhawards.co.uk and complete the online entry form. The awards will be presented on 30 March 2011.
