Dudley-based manufacturer, Revolvo, hailed investment in world class production and technology as well as its focus on continuous improvements as being pivotal in winning its largest ever export order to supply bearings to global steel company Jindal Steel and Power.
The bearing manufacturer has invested millions of pounds in new machinery and quality systems to develop world class operations allowing it to compete successfully in new export markets. During a visit to Revolvo's new purpose-built manufacturing facility at Yorks Park this month, Business Secretary Lord Mandleson and Minister of State for Regional Affairs (West Midlands) Ian Austin were shown the innovative, solution- engineered split and solid rolling element bearings that are manufactured for a growing international customer base.

Revolvo sales and marketing director Adrian Menzies said: "The recognition of our manufacturing and export achievements at the highest level is vindication of our strategy of consistent investment in our personnel, design, manufacturing facilities and service. The synergy in our operations that we have been able to achieve through these investments is enabling us to penetrate new international markets, and to revolutionise traditional market sectors."
Revolvo is supplying Jindal Steel and Power with 570 split roller bearings manufactured at its new plant in Dudley.
