A trio of quality factory tours around the country highlighting best practice have been announced by Works Management.

WM group editor Max Gosney said: "Find out what makes a Best Factory Award winning factory tick by visiting a site, meeting the manufacturing teams and viewing the processes live from top floor to cell level.

"Sign up for a WM Factory Tour and gain exclusive access to a Best Factory Award winning site and 'pinch with pride'. We have secured a number of tour dates but there is limited capacity and only a few places left, so avoid disappointment and book yours now."

Among the top flight sites featured are former BFA Factory of the Year Sony UK Technology Centre, Pencoed on 8 September 2015. The Sony site has enjoyed a spectacular transformation from making high volume TVs to broadcast camera systems for Sky and the BBC.

You can also visit another former BFA Factory of the Year – Power Panels, West Midlands – on 29 September 2015, where you will be able to learn best practice from a site that has also won the BFA's Best Electronics and Electrical Plant, Best Small Company and the Skills Development Award.

Finally, on 30 September 2015, Carl Zeiss Microscopy, Cambridge – former winner of the BFA Best Electronics & Electrical Plant – will host a tour at which you can learn how to take lean into your back office and unlock monumental efficiency gains.

Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Don't miss the chance to take these exclusive tours; book now by calling Julie Knox on 01322 221144 or visit www.wmfactorytours.co.uk
