BSIF Safety Awards call for entries
Submissions are now open for this year's British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Safety Awards which will take place at Safety & Health Expo at the London Excel in June. You don't have to be a member of the BSIF to enter the awards; they are also open to non-members looking to publicise their products and services.
There are three awards categories:
• Product innovation – For products that are new and innovative and will contribute to improvements in occupational safety and health. Last year, this award was won by Paftec for its Clean Space 2 powered respirator.
• Service awards – For companies in the safety field offering exceptional and innovative service solutions, voted for by the entrants' own customers. Last year, it was won by WC Willis & Co.
• Safety excellence – Based upon case studies submitted by members, this award recognises major improvements in occupational safety created in 2013. Last year, it was awarded to J&K Ross for its work with Northern Powergrid.
