BV Dairy selects Epicor for end to end operations

BV Dairy managing director Jim Highnam expects the system to provide a unified, end-to-end system capable of managing all operations from milk reception to loading the BV Dairy vehicle fleet with finished products. He explains that the business has moved from a traditional dairy to a high-tech and eco-friendly food processor, so needed a business system to plan and manufacture a much wider range of products through multiple processing stages – also balancing customer demand with the supply of raw milk. "We reviewed a number of systems before selecting Epicor 9 from Aspera," states Highnam. "We wanted a high tech solution to provide the foundation for the company's continued growth. Aspera's experience in the food industry, particularly the dairy sector, gave us the confidence that they could deliver the system we need." The syxtem is expected to go live in early 2012.
