Forklift manufacturer Cesab has opened its first UK training and product centre near Sheffield in partnership with local dealership PLP Lift Trucks.
The new facility in Dinnington, near Sheffield, will house the entire Cesab warehouse and counterbalanced forklift range, enabling customers to visit the site for product demonstrations, warehouse simulation exercises and operator training.
Terry Stephens, Cesab's UK general manager, said: "The investment in this centre is designed to give employees up to the minute training on the product range, as well as enable prospective and existing customers to see every product functioning effectively within a full, simulated warehouse environment.
"Training and continuous development is integral to the way we operate at Cesab. It gives our people full confidence to tailor-make safe and more profitable materials handling solutions for customers, knowing the latest advances not just within our product range but also in terms of operational techniques and innovations.
Cesab is part of the Toyota Material Handling group.
