Manufacturing Computer Solutions is staging the first in a new series of free manufacturer-led cimforum manufacturing IT conferences on 3 November at the Ricoh stadium, Coventry.

Speakers from best in class manufacturers – including Lindsay Watson, director of product development for LDV Group, and David Lloyd, former head of IT for Stadco and BRC – will be providing detailed insights into what made their systems so successful. Other speakers include Tyrone White, manufacturing manager for Talley Group, Russell Trotter, operations director at Texecom, Matthew Davies, head of IT at Kinnerton Confectionery, Derek Wilson, CIO of Origin Enterprises, and Paul Gill, managing director, Hansatech EMS. Delegates will hear how these best-practice manufacturers implemented much more than ERP to solve manufacturing and business problems, as well as how they are still evolving those systems today – and why. They can also go for free one-on-one expert advice for their own business, operations and IT requirements, with guidance from sponsors' consultants. This is a rare opportunity to learn from a high achieving peer group, and to share ideas and experience on how system developments can make a difference to your organisation. cimforum2010 is an independent, single-day conference hosted by Manufacturing Computer Solutions. Attendance is free, but spaces are limited. Register online now at www.cimforum.co.uk or contact Julie Knox at jknox@findlay.co.uk or on 01322 221 144.
