Cincom has used the SAP Sapphire conference in Berlin to re-launch its software aimed at selling complex products by online configuration.
Its so-called Acquire Solution Suite is being pitched as the only end-to-end sales software for manufacturers that sell complex products and services.
It provides capabilities such as guided selling, distributor collaboration, sales and product configuration, quotation and proposal management, project and bid management, and contract and order management, complementing traditional CRM and ERP-based systems.
The new suite is built on the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server architecture, and the company says that product management, engineering and marketing divisions can all now align their information and processes to support the sales cycle.
