The Manufacturing Management Conference takes place 15-16 June 2016 at Whittlebury Hall, Northamptonshire and will combine Works Management’s previous Factory Safety & Maintenance and Manufacturing conferences.
Visitors to the Manufacturing Management Conference will experience best practice learning, which will enable them to deliver effective, long lasting, successful lean manufacturing programmes. The packed conference programme will cover the key elements of successful manufacturing management including health and safety, maintenance and continuous improvement.
The Manufacturing Management Conference will employ an interdisciplinary ‘hear, see and try’ format to provide manufacturing managers with interactive learning on all aspects of implementing a successful manufacturing strategy.
Max Gosney, group editor of Works Management, said: “The Manufacturing Management Conference combines the best of our existing WM Manufacturing Conference and Factory Safety and Maintenance Conference.
“You and your teams will now be able to receive a masterclass in achieving outstanding CI, maintenance or safety standards at one single conference. Not just hear about it, but go and see what great looks like via a stellar factory tour programme and try out coaching and leadership techniques for yourselves via interactive workshops in each of the three topics.”
Ed Tranter, executive director at Findlay Media, added: “The role of the manufacturing manager is continually evolving as technologies and processes develop.
“The Manufacturing Management Conference caters for all the different skills required by a successful manufacturing manager and will bring together, in a single location, a stunning line-up of renowned speakers from across the UK’s manufacturing supply chain.”
Conference visitors will be offered a choice of factory tours to see what best practice looks like and pick up tips to take away. The factory tours and conference programme will be released shortly.
