Dassault and Prostep to deliver inter-system PLM collaboration
Data integration specialist Prostep is to work with PLM (product lifecycle management) software giant Dassault Systemes to develop PLM SOA (services oriented architecture) connectors.
The pair say it will harness Dassault’s existing Enovia SOA middleware architecture, and allow Enovia users to view, access, manage and collaborate across PLM content from multiple data sources, including competitors systems Teamcenter, Windchill, Agile and SAP PLM.
“Together we are helping customers accelerate their collaborative development process by enabling all relevant PLM information to be centrally viewed, accessed and managed quickly, reducing cycle time and driving product innovation,” says Bernd Paetzold, CEO of Prostep.
“Integration between Prostep’s OpenPDM and Enovia will immediately add value for customers by allowing them to easily integrate data from new sources,” he explains.
