Close on the heels of Adobe completing its acquisition of Macromedia, the company has launched three bundles combining the design and publishing features of Adobe Creative Suite 2 and Adobe video tools with the interactive power of Flash Professional 8 and Macromedia Studio 8.
The software bundles bring together the worlds of print, web, video and mobile devices.
Adobe Design Bundle combines Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium with Flash Professional 8 software for creating advanced interactive content. Adobe Web Bundle combines Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium and Studio 8. And Adobe Video Bundle delivers Adobe video solutions coupled with Flash Professional 8.
Says Adobe president and chief operating officer Shantanu Narayen: “Our development teams are just beginning to explore the massive potential for integration and innovation as they start work on a new generation of solutions.”
In a little detail, the Adobe Design Bundle includes Adobe Creative Suite, launched in April last year and including Photoshop CS2, InDesign CS2, Illustrator CS2 and GoLive CS2 design tools – along with Version Cue CS2. It also introduces the Adobe Stock Photos service, Adobe Bridge and includes Acrobat 7.0 Professional.
