From stand 13, EMS will showcase a range of reliable, highly precise motion solutions from FAULHABER for the medical technology industry, including a selection of brushless servomotors, motion controllers, and linear actuation systems.
Medical Technology UK – A Key Event for the Medical Device Industry
Focusing on the design, development, and production of medical devices, Medical Technology UK brings in more than 1,100 visitors and 130 suppliers each year. Attracting a diverse audience from across the medical device industry, including engineers, procurement professionals, and senior executives, the event is a significant meeting point for experts and suppliers within the medical device manufacturing supply chain.
EMS Showcasing FAULHABER’s Advanced Solutions
As the exclusive distributor of FAULHABER products in the UK and Ireland, EMS will be showcasing the latest advancements in its high-performance drive systems. Among these solutions is the BHx series of servomotors, which feature a compact, 2-pole brushless design for high power precision. With smooth speed control, fast response, and low inertia, the range excels in high-speed operations and precise positioning. Low vibration and noise enhance user comfort, while high efficiency reduces heat generation, ideal for medical device applications.
Highlighting FAULHABER’s Motion Controllers and Actuators
In addition to displaying a selection of linear actuation systems, EMS will also showcase FAULHABER’s motion controllers, including the new MC3603 motion controller. This miniature, yet highly dynamic positioning system is available in housed and unhoused variants and is configured via FAULHABER Motion Manager. The MC3603 has a supply voltage up to 36 V DC, a maximum continuous output current of 3 A, and a maximum peak output current of 9 A.
The Future of Medical Devices at Medical Technology UK
Year on year we see how the medical device industry continues to evolve, demanding greater precision, reliability, and compact design in motion solutions,” said Mike Davies, managing director of EMS. “Miniature drive systems, such as FAULHABER’s controllers, servomotors, and linear actuators, play a crucial role in enabling ultra-precise movements in today’s most compact and advanced medical devices."
“By exhibiting again at this year’s Medical Technology UK, we aim to reinforce the significance of high-powered, miniature drive systems and how they can help overcome these challenges, supporting the next generation of medical innovation.”
