Epicor says its HCM (human capital management) software is creating new market opportunities for the firm, as companies across the industrial and size spectrum implement the system to manage their workforces.
"The ability to provide strong HR management software has allowed Epicor to expand into new global markets and further broadens Epicor's position [in] enterprise business software solutions," comments Malcolm Fox, director of product marketing for Epicor.
Fox says that manufacturers, distributors and others around the world are now realising the benefits of HCM as "a key tool" to find and retain employees, provide visibility across increasingly global workforces, and meet regulatory requirements, ultimately leading to improved productivity.
Recent implementers of Epicor HCM include: For Eyes Optical, LEK Consulting, Monotype Imaging, Predictive Biosciences, RK Mechanical, Finlays Kenya and the Logistics Management Institute.
"Epicor HCM played a crucial role in our decision to select Epicor as our ERP provider," comments Sean Pelling, director of finance for plantations firm Finlays Kenya.
"We selected Epicor for its lower total cost of ownership, rapid return on investment, local presence and commitment to the East African region, and the ability to meet our company-specific business requirements," he says.
The system is available both as an integral part of Epicor ERP and as an independent solution.
