Oil systems manufacturer Denco Lubrication says it expects real-time visibility, fast accounting and improved controls when it goes live with an ERP system from Access Supply Chain.
The Hereford-based company, which designs, manufactures, installs, commissions and maintains systems for a range of industries, is expecting 23% growth this year.
Yvonne Robertson, director of finance and administration for Denco, says it was that revenue hike that drove the company to look for a replacement for its creaking bespoke accounting systems.
She says Access Supply Chain was selected for its price-performance as well as the promise of improved visibility and business efficiency.
“Our existing system was too labour-intensive,” she says. “The Access Supply Chain solution removes a layer of manual process. We will no longer have to enter data onto spreadsheets or Word documents before we can load it onto the system. It completely eliminates the duplication of effort.”
And the business benefits: “The benefits for us will be immeasurable,” she says. “We will be able to get our accounts out an awful lot quicker and it will give us real-time visibility of non-stock items for our contract clients, removing the need for physical checks to be made.”
Implementation of the new system is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
