Health and Safety ’07, the new dedicated regional exhibition and seminar, has received a great accolade from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). Geoffrey Podger, chief executive of HSE, will be officially opening the event on 20th February at Sandown Park Racecourse.
As Podger explains: “The HSE wants to see health and safety as an important issue on every company's agenda. We support events that raise the profile of health and safety and highlight its importance both as the cornerstone of a civilised society and an essential part of any efficient business.”
Health and Safety ’07 has already attracted considerable interest, measurable both in terms of the quality of exhibitors and the number of pre-registered visitors. The Metropolitan branch of IOSH has been involved with the event from the beginning, and overall sponsorship is being provided by DuPont.
The aim of Health and Safety ’07 is to make life as simple as possible for anyone with a responsibility for health and safety: they can access the best products and services locally and more easily through the exhibition; network with other local organisations whilst keeping up to date with new regulations through the seminar programme.
The exhibition and seminars are both free to enter, but seminar places are restricted so it is recommended that visitors pre-register. Visit www.healthandsafety07.co.uk for full details on the exhibition, to see the complete seminar programme and to register.
