Everards brews up with Microsoft Dynamics and K3

Family-owned real beer brewer and pub company Everards is implementing the beverage industry DrinkIT business management solution from K3 and Microsoft Dynamics, following a nine-month review.
Everards IT manager and project sponsor Ian Smith says: “As Everards expands and evolves we need to keep pace with the increasing demand for high quality systems, services and information, and it’s essential that we upgrade now and … integrate all our systems.”
He believes the new system will form the centrepiece of Everards’ IT infrastructure, incorporating existing and planned add-ons for flexible development. “It offers us the scope to develop in-house systems and services as well as integrating third party software seamlessly within the Dynamics framework,” he explains.
He adds: “K3’s knowledge of Dynamics and their understanding of this business sector, together with the fact that they already had experience of converting our current system to Dynamics, have [also] been key factors in making the decision.”
Everards has adopted the ordering, finance and property elements of DrinkIT and will go live in May 2007. “We believe that our partnership with K3 will enable Everards to move forward with confidence in the integrity of our systems and data,” says Smith.
