Exact expands with Solid Data acquisition
Dutch ERP, CRM (customer relationship management) and HR systems developer Exact Holding has acquired Belgian accounting software company Solid Data for an undisclosed sum in cash.
The deal gives Exact, which sees itself as a second tier, global ERP player, further scope and appeal for SMEs particularly in the Netherlands and Benelux.
Delft-based Exact employs 2,700 and has offices in Europe, the Middle East, North and South America, Asia, Australia and Africa. Solid Data had revenues around €3.5 million last year and employs 40. The firm is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
Rajesh Patel, CEO Exact Software, says: “This acquisition is in line with Exact’s M&A strategy, allowing great cross selling opportunities for Exact Online and Exact e-Synergy. The combined entity creates a clear accounting software market leader in the Belgian SMB market.”
