UK ERP developer Exel Computer Systems is re-launching its third generation Efacs8 system with new technology, performance enhancement and more scalability.
We’re also looking at improved browser-based technology, meaning easier deployment and management. But also the company has taken its J2EE implementation further with Web 2.0 standard applications, Ajax (asynchronous JavaScript technology), JEE 5 and EJB3.
Beyond all that, Exel sales and marketing manager Tony Brookes says: “With our technology, customers can use our development environment to change, modify and scale their functionality. And our tools automatically copy the code so we can maintain a library of change and provide a quality and audit check and maintenance service.”
The new system also now includes Exel’s own CRM (customer relationship management), document management and workflow.
