Automotive refinishing manufacturer Farecla Products has gone for Epicor 9 ERP software to support its business transformation project.
The company, which has five sites globally and is headquartered in the UK, is one of the few seeing double-digit revenue growth, but finance director Jeff Kipling says its current systems are now holding it back.
"We use separate systems to manage areas such as finance, CRM, stock planning, inventory and export control," he explains. "We've seen consistent growth for many years and have simply grown out of the systems."
Kipling says the goal was a system that would allow staff to "focus on adding value, rather then spending a disproportionate amount of time keying and re-keying data".
Epicor, he explains, will allow Farcla to manage all business processes and data from a single solution, which includes a product inventory consisting of thousands of lines. Additional functional benefits he expects include seamless integration with the company's Microsoft Office environment, while Epicor 9's MRP will enable ~"scenario-based forecasting and production management".
Says Kipling: "We have great confidence in the Epicor consultants we are working with, from Aspera, and the excellent references we received for live Epicor customers. Epicor provided the most balanced solution for our needs."
