OGP UK, which is part of the Carfulan Group and specialises in advanced optical and multi-sensor equipment to accurately measure manufactured parts, has been re-certified to ISO 9001:2015.
The certification is the official mark of having a quality management system in place and proves that OGP UK consistently provides products and services that meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
It acts as the foundational core of the business and sets out consistently high standards covering the way OGP UK approaches areas such as leadership, planning, operations and performance, as well as how it manages organisational risk and documented information.
Says Carfulan Group director Chris Fulton: “Achieving the ISO standard puts OGP UK alongside more than a million businesses worldwide who recognise it as a blueprint for reliable service, consistent performance and continuous improvement.
“We’ve actually held it for around 13 years now, but like many other organisations we’ve had to transition from the previous 2008 standard and prove we are meeting the more rigorous requirements of the 2015 version.
“It’s a great source of pride to us that our efforts to put our employees and customers at the heart of what we do has again been officially recognised in this way.”
All businesses registered to ISO 9001:2008 must have made the transition to the 2015 standard by September 2018.
