1 min read

As Brexit negotiations pick up pace, the EEF is inviting people to an exclusive and free half day conference: Making Brexit Work – Preparing Manufacturers for Brexit

The day will be the first in a series of events taking place across the country as part of a Brexit Roadshow, where the manufacturers’ organisation will be providing manufacturers with expert insight and practical guidance on Brexit and its implications for the sector.

Andy Street CBE, the metro mayor for the West Midlands, will deliver the keynote speech. Additional speakers will include James Dowler, deputy director for stakeholder engagement at DExEU and Henry Newman, director of Open Europe. Speakers are also to be confirmed from BEIS, DIT and Aston University, among others.

Throughout the event, delegates will hear from EEF's leadership and members, regional leaders in business and politics, government representatives and officials, in addition to being provided with the latest research and analysis to ensure that the sector reaps the benefits from its new relationship with Europe and the rest of the world.

The event takes place on 28 November (10am – 4pm) at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Birmingham. Spaces at the event are limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. RSVP to EEFevents@pagefield.co.uk.
