Free machine safety training
Following their successful machine safety workshops last October, safety experts Leuze electronic are running further free sessions next month.
On March 21st and repeated on March 23rd, Leuze will be running the free one day training workshops on how to use Sistema, the free safety software tool to evaluate safety-related parts in a control systems.
Leuze technical support engineer Kevin Ellison says the company offers free training and software, because it believes this will help customers gain an advantage by reducing their design and installation time.
MD Mark Weymouth said: "We are in the business of selling the best machine safety products, including light curtains, laser scanners and interlocks. Training and software is something that I believe should support this, rather than being a business itself, that might distract us and confuse customers."
