Medical devices manufacturer Frontier Medical Group expects to go live with 30-user Syspro ERP system from K3 by the end of June 2009.
Nick Davis, group managing director of Frontier, explains that the new solution replaces Frontier’s original and separate business systems, centralising information into an easy to use and secure single data resource.
He expects the new system to deliver full visibility of real-time data across the company’s four divisions.
“Syspro will replace our old, inflexible systems with an elegant solution that will integrate all areas of our business. We anticipate that it will provide a user-friendly, centralised system, giving full business-wide visibility,” says Davis.
“It will help optimise our production scheduling and also provide us with the flexibility we need from our IT as we take the company forward,” he adds.
K3 is supplying Syspro modules covering manufacturing, distribution, accounts and human resources. Manufacturing processes control will improve, bolstering lot traceability and making it easier to manage inventory and quality.
In addition, Frontier will get a fully integrated CRM system that provides a seamless link to essential customer information.
“This is a very competitive market and it is important that we take advantage of new technology that will help us to stay ahead of the competition. We expect that the new system will help us to make improvements and boost efficiency levels across the business, thereby reducing costs and enhancing our customer service levels,” says Davis.
