PLM (product lifecycle management) software company Agile, which earlier this year bought Canadian visualisation systems builder Cimmetry, building on its acquisition of German Eigner PLM developer, says it’s now ready to innovation at every level and anywhere.
Vice president of marketing Chris Farinacci says that its combination of technologies now stretches across departmental boundaries and supply chains, making collaboration real and consigning batch operations to the past.
“It’s not just about concurrent engineering,” he says. “There need no longer be any handovers. Everyone can now have access and participate for demand-driven engineering and manufacturing.”
