Electronic contract manufacturing and assembly services firm Hansatech EMS says that it has successfully installed Epicor 9 ERP at its Poole site.
It's the first live implementation of Epicor 9 ERP. Hansatech managing director Paul Gill, says the system was up and running in an exceptionally short timeframe, ensuring minimal disruption to manufacturing and, he believes, faster attainment of return on investment.
In particular, he says the software is delivering improved process efficiencies, manufacturing cost visibility and enhanced profitability.
"We regularly health-check our business operations to ensure our manufacturing solutions remain competitive," says Gill. "With Epicor 9 we believe we now have the optimum package to provide what customers want without increasing our overall cost base."
He also points to Epicor 9's basis in Web 2.0 technology, which allows unprecedented agility and means useful support for ongoing performance improvements through, for example, document management, non-conformance reporting, real-time tracking and traceability, Microsoft Office compatibility and custom configuration.
