The new face mask is ergonomically designed to be comfortable to wear over time. It creates a physical barrier between the mouth and nose of the wearer and any contaminants in the immediate environment.
The reusable mask also limits waste. It is durable, easy to clean and can be sterilised. Each mask comes with 10 filters which are easy to replace and can be washed up to 20 times. Further filters are available so the mask can be worn multiple times.
Keter is committed to supporting its local communities and will be donating a quantity of face masks to hospitals, care facilities and schools across Europe.
Kerry Murfin, Keter’s Marketing Director Europe, said: “In these challenging times it has never been more important to support our local communities and healthcare professionals. Face masks are now being made compulsory on transport in several countries and as restrictions ease, masks can help to protect healthcare professionals and other workers as they undertake their duties.
“The Group is delighted that along with AP Medical we have been able to apply our innovative design resources and agile manufacturing capability to create and deliver the masks so that they can get to those who need them the most. We plan to donate a number of these as quickly as possible and help in the ongoing supply of required equipment.”
