The conference, called A Manufacturing Future for Scotland, will feature the biggest names in manufacturing, who will be discussing their vision for the future of the manufacturing sector in the region. Sponsored by Bank of Scotland, the event will bring together expertise from companies of all sizes, across all manufacturing sectors.
Day one of the two-day event will feature site visits plus a gala dinner, while day two will see a programme of keynote speakers and panel discussions, plus a series practical workshops that have been designed to provide practical advice to a range of business questions.
As well as Dr Mughal, other keynote speakers include Rhys Herbert, senior macroeconomist, commercial banking at Lloyds Bank, plus a guest speaker from TENTE International, the Cologne-based wheels and castors manufacturer.
The list of confirmed workshop practitioners include the High Speed Sustainable Manufacturing Institute (HSSMI) in conjunction with the Ford Motor Group, plus the Scottish Institute of Remanufacture with Cummins Diesel Recon.
