Infor acquires Extensity and Systems Union

Massively acquisitive Infor has just announced that it’s closed two more deals – financial performance management software company Extensity and Systems Union Group, which provides financial and performance management systems.

Those are on top of completing its purchase of SSA Global just last week, and taking that organisation into private ownership with Golden Gate Capital – bringing the Baan ERP system and rest of the SSA suite of ERP and supply chain systems under Infor’s enterprise software umbrella. Annual revenues for the group will now be around $2.1 billion, with offices in 100 countries and approximately 70,000 customers. These latest two purchases broaden Infor’s coverage particularly into business financial management, budgeting, reporting and business intelligence. “We are broadening our offering to include solutions that will enable our customers to improve performance throughout the organization,” says Jim Schaper, Infor chairman and CEO of. “Companies can now choose fully integrated solutions for specific industries as well as best-in-class standalone solutions from one provider.”
