Infor acquires Single Source service software
Mid market manufacturing ERP giant Infor has acquired complementary new service management software from long-term partner Single Source Systems.
The new products include Service Management Plus (SM-Plus), SM-Plus Mobile and Workbench Suite, all aimed at dealers, distributors and manufacturers.
Infor says it intends to deliver "significant product enhancements" and to integrate the new solutions with several core Infor platforms. In fact, many of the acquired SM-Plus products were originally designed to work with Infor10 ERP Business (SyteLine), and developed using Infor's Mongoose software development toolset.
The firm also advises that manufacturers previously working direct with Single Source can now step up to working with Infor, for additional business strength and stability – as well as single vendor support.
