The agreement will see the Cranfield-based business school integrate Infor ‘CloudSuite Industrial Machinery’, together with an expert-led teaching programme, into Cranfield’s MSc(s) in Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing, in an effort to facilitate real-world experience and to help impart relevant technology skills for over 180 students.
Cranfield selected Infor as its digital partner in part to help ensure that students graduated not only with the ability to secure a role in their chosen field, but also to help equip them with the necessary digital skills to innovate and help drive transformation.Students that complete the courses will also be eligible for internships and graduate placements at Infor through the Infor ‘EAP Scholars programme’.
Denyse Julien, director of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Master’s programme at Cranfield School of Management, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with Infor to offer our students access to industry-leading business software. Thanks to this partnership, from October 2018 participants on our full-time Supply Chain Management Master’s programs will be able to get hands-on experience with a live enterprise resource planning system. This is a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain experience and skills in an area that is valued highly by today’s businesses.”
