Infor moves to expand professional services in-house
Manufacturing-centric ERP and supply chain systems developer Infor says it’s upping the ante on professional services to further reduce users’ cost of ownership.
John Flavin, formerly senior vice president for customer satisfaction at Infor – a 25-year veteran of the applications business in product development, sales, support and services – moves up to senior vice president, Global Professional Services.
Infor has also created a new Managed Services group, with a goal of standardising existing managed offerings, such as software-as-a-service (SaaS), into a centre of excellence.
Flavin argues that the creation of a corporate-level position responsible for managing this team will improve efficiency, drive best practices and improve capacity to match customers requirements.
