The UK home furnishings manufacturer already achieves half of its sales online, but needed a new platform that could scale to meet its growth ambitions and offer customers the opportunity to customise their orders.
With its existing bespoke ERP and e-commerce solution reaching its limits it needed a new integrated technology stack that would grant it more control, greater design options and better security. Ease of use was also a key priority.
Explains e-commerce manager Marta Dyer Smith: “As a growing business we wanted to have a more powerful platform with more control.”
The manufacturer’s web team is now able to manage all web store content efficiently and is seeing online sales conversion rates increase through improved online customer contact. The new web store is also helping to speed up telephone orders.
Adds Dyer Smith: “Our sales team can process phone orders faster, as the clients have already looked up the necessary information online.”
