ISACA virtual seminar shares cloud security guidance

Global IT association ISACA says it will share guidance on cloud computing security challenges at its free virtual seminar on 8 November.

Ken Vander Wal, international president of ISACA, says that IT professionals will learn from industry leaders at the event, entitled 'Cloud Security: How Safe is the Cloud?'. "Cloud computing is a cost-effective technology that is becoming more widely used, but it poses some business concerns that enterprises need to address," warns Vander Wal. "ISACA's virtual conference will help attendees tackle the security concerns associated with cloud adoption, and arm them with valuable approaches to this advantageous technology," he adds. The event, which is sponsored in part by Microsoft and Intel/McAfee, will include several sessions, including: 'Meet the cloud API'; 'Securing Microsoft's cloud infrastructure; identity and access management for the cloud; and 'threats and risks in the cloud'.
