Construction and mining equipment manufacturing giant Komatsu says it expects to optimise its service parts pricing worldwide and increase profitability, when it goes live with Servigistics’ service management and pricing solution.
Hitoshi Mozumi, general manager, product support division, parts department, Komatsu, says explains that the company has already implemented Servigistics service parts management system, and integration is to follow with its SAP ERP system.
“Global pricing management is indispensable to improving our pricing strategy, as well as to increasing customer and distributor satisfaction,” he says. “Servigistics has proven that they can provide us with all the functions and services we require and that we will realise a return-on-investment within one year.”
Servigistics service parts pricing enables pricing processes, such as regular price changes, pricing of new parts, analysis and simulation of pricing strategies, as well as functions like monitoring and auditing after price change and approval workflows.
