ERP software and services provider Lakeview has launched LV ERP as a cloud-based alternative to the standard solution – making the point that it requires minimum upfront investment.
Lakeview CEO Mark Greatrex says that the new offering is targeted at SMEs, and adds that it incorporates an option for a web-based frontend interface, which enables remote users to access the system using a browser via any device.
Finance options include buying the rights to use LV ERP, leasing software or rent it as a SaaS (software as a service) solution on a per user per month basis.
"We believe this range of options is a first in our marketplace," comments Greatrex. "The LV product was designed with the cloud in mind and is equally effective as an on-premise or cloud-based solution."
In developing its cloud offering, Lakeview has partnered with web-hosting solutions specialist Rackspace.
"By developing our own software in-house and having us manage service providers, customers benefit from the convenience of a single point of contact in providing ongoing support," asserts Greatrex.
"They can also have direct access to our consultants, which means that any tweaks or modifications needed to suit each individual implementation can be made, quickly and simply," he adds.
